Two years ago, small business owner Emmett Soldati sued Facebook and Instagram over violating the rights of his business by breaking a contract. Facebook argued they are immune to claims from account holders – even paid accounts. Soldati pushed back and the case went all the way to our State’s Supreme Court.
Watch Emmett Soldati present his opening arguments to the court over the deletion of his business’s Instagram account deletion. His company, Teatotaller, lost thousands of followers and all of its content, all this after spending considerable funds to build and promote the account.
